Fostering Global Responsibility: Building a Development Policy Knowledge Network to enhance NGO Public Outreach Initiatives in EU New Member States [March 2008 - August 2010]

This project is funded by the European Union aims at fostering new linkages among Non-Governmental Development Organizations (NGDOs) and leading development think tanks in New Member States. The main objective of the project is to promote a greater understanding of the development challenges, to facilitate greater public support in NMS for poverty reduction efforts and to contribute to more strategic and evidence-informed policy dialogue and engagement on international development issues.

The project is led in consortium by CASE – Center of Social and Economic Research and ODI – Overseas Development Institute. The project is supported by: Hungarian Association of NGOs for Development and Humanitarian Aid (HAND), Czech Forum for International Cooperation (FoRS), Slovak NGDO Platform (MVRO) and Polish NGOs Abroad Platform (Grupa Zagranica).

CASE Moldova, CASE Transcaucasus and CASE Kyrgyzstan are the local partners of the project.
