PublicationsProspects of EU-Moldova economic relations [August – December, 2006]
The project is aimed at helping the Moldovan authorities and the expert community to shape and implement policies in the area of economic relations between Republic of Moldova and the European Union. Specifically, the project will assist the Moldovan authorities in preparing a new framework agreement on cooperation with the EU, but also will help to elaborate short- and medium-term economic policies towards the EU in the context of the existing framework: PCA, European Neighborhood Policy, and notably, the EU-Moldova Action Plan. As successful implementation of the Action Plan is a precondition for enhancement of EU-Moldova relations, the project will emphasize an analysis of the implementation of the Action Plan and will come up with recommendations for its further implementation. The project will be undertaken by an international team of experts organized jointly by CASE - Center for Social and Economic Research (Poland) and Foundation for Social and Economic Research - CASE Moldova. Warsaw-based experts will contribute to research, provide guidance and build capacity to analyze EU external policy within Moldovan expert community, involve external experts into commenting on the materials produced and identify appropriate Polish scholars and policy-practitioners who can provide knowledge transfer from Poland to Moldova in the area of EU integration. The project is supported financially by the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs. |
